Dennis Edwards for Foodservice is a family-owned company, founded in 1973, by Dennis himself. The company is now run by his son, Lawson Edwards, and Lawson’s wife, Bim, and their daughter, Becky also help with day-to-day business, with Bim heading up operations and warehouse, while Becky is the General Manager.
As one of the largest independently owned foodservice companies in Hampshire, we pride ourselves on bringing customers high quality food and outstanding customer service. We’ve also been part of Fairway Foodservice for over 30 years, which means we have big buying and distributing power.
Our product range consists of over 2,600 frozen, chilled, and ambient product lines, which we supply to the independent catering sector, pubs, holiday parks, nursing homes, golf clubs, schools, ministry of defence establishments, hospitals, civic offices, and popular tourist venues.
Thanks to the intelligent software, Erudus, we can provide accurate foodservice data for our customers, including allergens, and nutritional and dietary information. If required, we can also share management statistics for each customer, which can be supplied monthly, quarterly, or annually.

Jo-anne is part of our Customer Services / Office team. As well as having an extensive catering background, Jo also has valuable administrative experience, working for many years within a doctor’s surgery. Before joining us, Jo had experience in the hospitality sector where she was running and working in pubs in London and the south coast.

Blossom joined our team with a background in retail and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. After a couple of years in the retail sector, Blossom decided to persue her interest and career in the foodservice industry, joining the DEFS family and mission to bring quality products and excellent service to our customers.
Sales Manager
Mark brings to the business a wealth of experience having previously been a Chef and Restaurant Manager with extensive experience in both the food preparation and menu design as well as responsibility for running the day to day operations. After this, Mark moved into Sales where previously he managed large sales teams and also worked on a National Account basis with Blue Chip companies, prior to joining Dennis Edwards Foodservice as Sales Manager.
AREA SALES MANAGER
Alex brings a blend of hospitality and sales experience to our team. Having worked in the Hospitality industry before joining DEFS, Alex understands customer needs and the importance of delivering high quality service.. Prior to his Hospitality background Alex also worked in Sales - blending these experiences together helps Alex build strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction!
